As we drove home after the reception it was quiet in the car. We were tired from all that sunshine and celebrating. Then came a big sigh from the backseat as my son said, “That was awesome!”. You said it, kiddo. (although I think he will forever be disappointed by every other wedding he attends when he realizes that playing in the pond is usually not in the program!)
S & E’s reception was a lovely afternoon of family and friends, lawn games and laughter, ice cream and cake, and lots of wet kiddos splashing in the pond.
